I'm a social worker dedicated to providing teens and adults with mental health therapy. Whether you're struggling to manage a mental health concern, trying to figure out who you are, or navigating a difficult life transition, I can help. You deserve a safe space to address your needs and find solutions, which can entail learning new coping or life skills, or learning how to live with and adapt to a situation. My style is warm, patient, and collaborative; I avoid telling people what they should do, and instead prefer to help you meet goals that you've set for yourself.
I believe that you have the ability to reach your full potential, and it's okay to need a helping hand to do so. I have experience working with people with a variety of mental health concerns, from addictions to mood disorders to trauma, and also bring my lived experience as a trans woman, veteran, and person in long term recovery to the table.
I earned my MSW from Clarke Univeristy in Dubuque, Iowa, and while there conducted my field study at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Counseling Services, where I provided mental health counseling to the student body.
I'm affiliated with The M.A.D. Therapy in Bettendorf, Iowa and see clients in-person and online.
When not being a therapist I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, reading, and playing tabletop roleplaying games.
